Mission Statement:
The mission of PRYSM Youth Center of Delaware County is to provide Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex youth and their Straight Allies (LGBTQQIA) with a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment where they can meet regularly and be themselves. The center will facilitate social, educational and supportive activities as well as opportunities to participate in outreach, activism, and leadership development.

 PRYSM is open to youth ages 14-20 and meets weekly in Media, PA. All youth are welcome regardless of race, class, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or faith affiliation, or lack there of. The group does not have a religious agenda. The group will meet year-round, including over the summer and some holidays.

Group members will have the freedom to be themselves and without the worry of harassment or judgment for who they are. Everyone, both youth and adult advisers will be treated with respect and dignity.

Weekly group meetings will include community check-ins, educational presentations, open discussions, games, as well as planning of community outreach and special events.

PRYSM meets every Wednesday night from 6:30pm - 8:30pm
in Gayley Square in Media, PA
